Grace Gent

Heya, I'm Grace! Art has always been a part of my life—some of my earliest memories are of turning the garden into my "own personal canvas" (my mum wasn't so pleased.) But as I got older, I was often told that art wasn't a viable career path, so I decided to study Film and Television at university, which I love. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that I might be straying from my true passion, so I picked up my paint brushes again.

Two years later, I'm now in my final year at university and thrilled to be working in what truly feels like my dream job. I'm still honing my style and technique, but right now, I'm really enjoying exploring the concept of "things existing where they shouldn't." I love blending natural beauty with unexpected elements—like rubber ducks—to spark new ideas, perspectives and emotions.

My work is inspired by a range of incredible artists, including the humor of Mars Black, the vibrant colors of Erin Hanson, the unique perspectives of Hannah Luen, the emotion of Haley Greco, and the intricate details of Victoria Rose Park. If you haven't checked out their work, I highly recommend it!

Thank you so much to everyone who supports and enjoys my art—it truly means the world to me. Have a fantastic day!
